Watsonville, Calif., February, 9 2022– Make Valentine’s Day extra special this year by mixing up a batch of Martinelli’s Raspberry Smash. This fruity alcohol-free libation is made with Martinelli’s Sparkling Blush, fresh raspberries, freshly squeezed lemon juice, ginger syrup, mint leaves and ice. To prepare the syrup, bring ginger, sugar and water to a simmer in a small saucepan on medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes; strain and cool to room temperature. To create the sumptuous sipper, muddle raspberries and mint in the bottom of a glass. Add lemon juice, ginger syrup, Sparkling Blush and ice; mix with a spoon. Garnish with fresh raspberries and a sprig of mint. Looking to make it boozy? Add vodka for a delicious cocktail creation.

Ingredients
1 cup Martinelli’s Sparkling Blush
2 tablespoons fresh raspberries, washed
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
¼ cup ginger syrup
Mint leaves
Ice, to serve
Ginger Syrup
¼ cup ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
½ cup sugar
1 cup water
Instructions
- Bring ginger, sugar and water to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat; stir until the sugar dissolves. Then, gently simmer uncovered on low heat for 20 minutes. Strain and cool to room temperature.
- Muddle raspberries and mint in the bottom of a glass. Pour in the lemon, ginger syrup and Sparkling Blush. Combine with a spoon. Add ice and mix together one last time. Garnish with additional fresh raspberries and a sprig of mint. Enjoy!
