Start your Fourth of July fireworks early this weekend and get your crafting fix with this easy Martinelli’s DIY fireworks bottle craft! After enjoying your Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider, let your creative juices flow as you design your own skyline. It’s a craft the whole family can enjoy together.
Step 1: Remove
Enjoy any variety of delicious 25.4 oz. Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider, then remove the label by soaking it in warm water, or use an X-acto knife to remove label (adults only, please).
Step 2: Tape
Use your scissors and painter’s tape to cut the tape into shapes to create your skyline. Place the tape starting about one-third of the way up from the bottom of the bottle. Whether you’re transporting yourself to a city or countryside, let your creativity be your guide here!
Step 3: Paint
Paint the bottle creating a sunset on the top two-thirds of the bottle, painting over your taped areas. Paint the bottom one-third of the bottle white. When the paint dries enough, add your red stripes on top of the white.
Step 4: Remove Tape
After the paint completely dries, carefully remove the tape to display your skyline. Carefully remove the tape so that it does not damage the painted area.
Step 5: Add Fireworks
Add a trail of glue going up the bottle to show the train of the fireworks going up into the air, then sprinkle with glitter. Finally, bend each pipe cleaner, placing each bent portion in the top of the bottle so the bent ends stand out like fireworks. Use craft glue to keep in place.
Happy Fourth of July!
